Pick up rental van. Drive to Quartzite (128 miles, 2hrs)

3,700 year-round residents, that population explodes during the January-February show. Quartzite Mineral shows are not as extensive as Tucson.

Of the ten or more venues happening simultaneously there are up to four that feature rocks and minerals. Prices are notoriously cheap . compared to Tucson, where costs for many of the same items tend to be quite higher.

All shows have free admission and parking. No registration is required.

Notes:

• Large passenger van $1,342 and gas shared by number of occupants.
• Air B&B in Blythe, CA, sleeps 6-8, for 5 nights, $922 shared by number of
• occupants.
• Or RV .boondock. in nearby area BLM land, if preferred.
• Alternate lodging options in Blythe, CA (25 miles west)
